Amit’s half-step drum’n'bass sound is said to have bridged the gap between drum’n'bass and dubstep, with Mary Anne Hobbes even including the track ‘Too Many Freedoms’ on her ‘Warrior Dubs’ compilation. Recently, Amit has been in the studio tinkering with different bpms, and we are bound to hear some of this new material in a Ableton Live set, alongside the bass-heavy beats of forward-thinking dubstep selectas Jason Howson and Stinky Jim. With local D&B heavyweights Bugsy and Omen also on the bill, this event promises to be a night of musical progression, with an emphasis on murky sub frequencies and hypnotic future rhythms..
